Arbomap 3, the technological evolution in the management of green infrastructures

Since its first version for Madrid in 1993, Arbomap has evolved over more than 30 years to adapt to market needs and consolidate itself as a reference tool in green infrastructure management. The first versions: Arbomap, Arbomap Web, Arbomap Office and Arbomap Go, marked a before and after in the sector, transforming the way companies and city councils managed urban green space.

A few years ago, Tecnigral decided to completely revamp its flagship product, focusing from the ground up on users and their real needs. This effort resulted in Arbomap SaaS 3, uploaded to production for the first customer in June 2025, a platform that combines state-of-the-art technology with great ease of use.

One of the most outstanding advances in this version is the alliance with ArcGIS from ESRI, a world leader in Geographic Information Systems (GIS). Thanks to this, Arbomap 3 offers advanced cartographic functionalities, including unprecedented editing and spatial management tools such as copy and paste elements with their data, precise measurements on the map, customized filters and options to adapt labels and symbols to the specific needs of each project.

Innovation and flexibility for field teams and urban managers thanks to the “Tablón Brigada” and advanced integration with ArcGIS.

The maintenance module is designed to enable flexible and scalable job management, facilitating the mass creation of tasks, which in turn are organized through work orders. It also includes the innovative “Brigade Board”, which places field teams at the center of the process, allowing them to create and manage their work parts directly from the site.

On the other hand, the system of incidents and warnings is integrated with the conservation module and with the option of connection via API with municipal platforms, optimizing communication and monitoring of events in real time.

All the data collected in the different modules feed robust databases, offering the possibility not only to consult basic information, but also to obtain advanced analysis through business intelligence dashboards that support strategic decision making.

In addition, our tree risk management module allows the safety of trees to be systematically assessed. Using the TRAQ (Tree Risk Assessment Qualification) method developed by the ISA (International Society of Arboriculture), we guarantee a standardized, rigorous assessment in line with international best practices in arboriculture.

In parallel, the development team is working on the training of two artificial intelligence models that will enhance the platform’s capabilities. The first is aimed at predicting tree risk, using historical and environmental data to anticipate possible incidents. The second is an intelligent assistant designed to improve the user experience, offering recommendations, contextual support and dynamic help within the environment.
